     Kelly Ennis, Interior Designer

I have been lucky to work with Deb in the Architectural Community
in Los Angeles over the last 2 years. I credit Deb for her highly
detailed organizational skills, while solving problems not only in a
professional manner but creatively as well. It is these characteristics
that I have modeled my own work ethics after.

Deb is a rare commodity where she is able to manage several
tasks and complete them thoroughly on time and under budget. Not only
is she great to work with on a team but also she possesses leadership skills
that encourage others less knowledgeable than herself.

Even though Deb has recently ventured out on her own, I will continue
to call her to ask for advice, and guidance as I build my own career.

     Dean Maglieri, Architect

I've known Deb Longua since 1993 and it has been a genuine
pleasure to have dealt with her professionally while in Washington DC and
here in the Los Angeles area.

While employed at Settles Associates in Arlington, Virginia,
Deb and I have collaborated on numerous demanding projects together,
which entailed stringent deadlines and at times very demanding clients.
Regardless of the complexity of the assignment, Deb always stood up to the
challenge and further exceeded expectations. For this reason when the
opportunity presented itself, she was selected to act as staff designer on a
high profile project in designing former President George Bush's private
office building in Texas.

In addition to having an outstanding personality, Deb has
always demonstrated to be an optimistic individual with plenty of energy to
spare. She is responsible, sincere, candid, and is capable in dealing with
many critical situations set forth before her.

I confirm her competency and I hereby have no hesitation in
recommending her to the open position she is aspiring to fill.

Judy Caruthers, former Vice President of Interiors for SmithGroup

Deb Longua was employed at the SmithGroup for close to three
years and worked under my direction as a senior interior designer. Deb's
responsibilities included design, project management and building client
relationships. Deb did an excellent job in all of these areas. Included in
her responsibilities was construction administration, working with general
contractors, sub contractors and a variety of vendors. All of who enjoyed
Deb's professionalism, responsiveness and thoroughness. Deb was extremely
successful at building client relationships. All of her clients enjoyed
working with her and often asked her to do additional assignments. Deb is
very organized and an especially hard worker. She is very reliable and can
be counted on to complete an assignment on time and within budget.

I would highly recommend Deb for any position that requires
someone who is organized, diligent, dedicated and personable in nature.

      Joe Peterson, Project Manager (Client)

[Letter to VP of SmithGroup/LA]:
I wanted to take a moment to let you know how much I appreciate all
Deb Longua's stellar performance on the various projects we've been involved
in this past year. I wish we could figure out a way to clone her! Actually that
might be hazardous to my health. I couldn't possibly keep up with two Debs.

Deb's ability to read situations with the client, read my mind, work her
rear-end off to meet intense schedules, follow through on a wide variety of
details on the CD's, maintain her excellent sense of humor and still have the
design look great are simply indispensable. I deeply respect this balanced
set of talents. Her motivation to constantly seek excellence in delivering superior
service demonstrates an exemplary attitude.

Deb is obviously a big reason why I keep coming back to SmithGroup/LA and
seek to do so in the future.

     Sechaba Morojele,  Director

After having graduated from the prestigious American Film Institute
(AFI) with an MFA in film and TV directing, I have learnt the importance of
collaborating during the filmmaking process. I have worked extensively in
the South African film industry as an actor, director and screenwriter and
have worked with a wide range of people both here and in South Africa, from
my aging Grandmother who did a cameo role in one of my films to the likes of
Ice Cube, Vingh Rhames and Elizabeth Hurley, whom I co-starred with in
DANGEROUS GROUNDS, the 1996 feature film.

I must admit that working with Deb Longua stands out as one of the
most memorable and successful collaboration experiences that I have had. She
is someone whom I would not hesitate to call whenever I get a directing job.
She has worked on my two most recent projects that we did both this year.
The first was a highly ambitious 30-minute short that we shot on 35mm and
the other was a small and cute 5-minute DV project.

I was very impressed with her amazing work ethics. She will do whatever it
takes to get the job done, no matter the circumstances. For instance, in the
first film, due to actor unavailability she was asked to reduce the time allotted to
building an apartment from 2-1/2 days to 1-1/2. Appreciating the predicament we
found ourselves in she and her crew accepted the challenge and completed the
task working around the clock. She would not stop until she felt she had
satisfactorily completed her work - she was doing the finishing touches of
hanging art on the walls as the actors were getting into place.

Like the perfectionist that she is, she not only delivered an apartment in record time
but she gave us an amazing location that mirrored the hero's innermost feelings
and helped to give the piece the authenticity that we were all looking for. She has
this amazing ability to work hard at getting the director's intentions and goes to
lengths to even improvise on it. After having discussed the color palette with her
she went as far as painting the hands of the kitchen clock the desired colors.

The thing I appreciate the most with Deb is that she has a drive that often
surpasses my own to make sure that we get what we initially set out to get. In the
first film, for example, after a difficult 15-hour day when everyone was tired and
was waiting for the last shot, she motivated everyone to shrink the walls of the
apartment to emphasize the character as delusional (as originally planned). When
everyone wanted to call it quits, Deb found that extra energy to get it done.

Deb definitely has an amazing work ethic and might I add is a great
delight to be around. She has a great sense of humor and definitely knows
how to make a director look good!

     Francesca Galesi, Director

I had the extreme fortune to enlist Deb Longua as my production designer for
my American Film Institute thesis film BORIS.

Right from the start, Deb and I were on the same wavelength.
We knew we needed a believable world that would set the mood, tone and
the cultural differences between each of the characters. Deb made it happen
seamlessly and effortlessly. Each set was uniquely individual and perfectly
designed. Despite our small budget, Deb ingeniously crafted an entire
world with the most beautiful and authentic detail. For example, the main
character Boris is an elderly Russian émigré living in a small studio in
West Hollywood. Set in cooler tones, blues, grays and greens combined with
details such as a sparse aluminum tea kettle on a hotplate in one corner, a
simple wooden desk in the other, scattered Russian newspapers, pictures of a
young Boris, a series of Russian Chekov plays, and a disheveled pullout sofa
bed together created this man's lonely existence. In contrast Deb created a
cozy warm apartment for Boris' Mexican landlady Rosie who he would later
become enamored with. Deb has the highest of standards, which she meets no
matter what obstacle she has to leap and bound over.

Needless to say, Deb is an amazing team player who negotiated brilliantly
between the cinematographer, the producer, and myself. There are scenes
that simply jump off the screen due to our collaboration. Together we made
a movie that I am very proud of.

I loved working with Deb and hope to do so again and again.

     Bita Salamat, Architect

I have had the opportunity to work with Deb for over 8 years at different
design firms both in Virginia and California. Deb is a diligent worker who
can manage multiple tasks concurrently and work well in team environments.

As a senior designer with the SmithGroup, Deb played a critical role in the
planning and design of many projects on which I was the project manger.
I found Deb to be an exceptionally qualified interior designer. Her organizational
skills, design sensibility and technical skills ensured a high standard of interior
architectural practice.

I would highly recommend Deb's professionalism and interpersonal
skills.  She would be an asset to anyone who is looking for a creative
person with excellent skills.

     Maryam Karimi, Director

The stars must have been in my favor when Deb Longua came to work as Art
Director on my short film.  Deb is not only professional, detail oriented
and creative, but she is also an incredible and giving person.  With Deb
running the show I never had to worry about the set design of the film.  Her
attention to detail was astonishing and made my job as Director much
simpler.  Her hard work and dedication to the projects she picks are clearly
visible.   She gets the job done no matter what it takes.  I can't wait to
work with her again.
